After–School Enrichment Program
After–School Enrichment Theme Classes The After–School Enrichment Theme Class concept was developed as a response to the requests of parents who wanted their children to benefit from the components offered through our “Five Star” Kindergarten Enrichment curriculum. As a result, our curriculum was enhanced and developed to accommodate students at grade levels K-8 and is available for selection when creating a school’s individual program.
Enrichment Classes The Enrichment Classes are comprised of monthly themes with an emphasis in art, music and science. Our program introduces students to the great artists and provides each student with a life-long appreciation toward music and the great composers. The students develop an enthusiasm toward the discovery of science and are also exposed to various cultures through the study of geography. Our program affords students a rare opportunity to understand the differences, and highlight the similarities that ultimately bring us together as people living in the world.
Individual Class Options Individual classes are offered in addition to the Enrichment Classes as an additional option to enhance a student’s life in the areas of art, music, drama, languages, physical education and chess.
Study Hall Hour Study Hall Hour is likened to a library time where the classroom setting is quiet and the student can get a head start on the day’s homework. Our staff is available to assist with homework, check what has been completed and let parents know through a “Homework Alert” where the student might require further help at home.
Character Building Character building is integrated into all aspects of the way in which we teach our program. Students learn to respect themselves and others, learn to appreciate and preserve our environment and ultimately gain a better understanding of ways in which, they can apply becoming better people to their everyday lives.
