After School Site Supervisor
The ideal candidate enjoys enriching the lives of children; will oversee all activities
of the after school program at a San Fernando Valley school location; attend monthly training sessions and weekly meetings; manage, train and oversee staff; has the ability to work with individuals at all levels; creates and maintains records; will teach a variety of enrichment courses through provided curriculum and comply with all DPSS requirements. Must provide transcripts showing completion of minimum 12 Child Development units to include Nursery School Administration or a Certificate
of Completion in Child Development from an Occupational Center or a Degree of completion in Child Development or possess a Site Supervisor Permit. Additionally, the candidate must complete Components 1-3 with the DPSS.
Salary is DOE.
Hours: M, W, Th & F 2:00 – 5/6:00 p.m. Tuesdays: 1:00 – 5/6:00 p.m.

After School Counselor
The ideal candidate enjoys enriching the lives of children; will participate in all activities of the after school program at a San Fernando Valley school location: attend monthly training sessions; has the ability to assist children in grades 1-5
with homework; is enthusiastic, creative and a team player; is punctual and has
the ability to relate well with individuals at all levels. The candidate must have
completed a minimum of 6 Child Development Units and is preferably striving
toward a degree in Child Development or Teaching.
Salary range is $10-$15 hourly DOE.
Hours: M, W, Th & F 2:30-5/6:00 p.m. Tuesdays: 1:30-5/6:00 p.m.

After School Aide
The ideal candidate enjoys children; will participate in all activities of the after
school program at a San Fernando Valley school location; attend monthly training sessions and has a desire to learn from seasoned counselors. The candidate must show proof of enrollment in a Child Development course of at least 3 units at a
junior college, university or occupational center. The candidate is punctual, enthusiastic, creative and a team player.
Salary range is: $8.75 - $10 hourly 
Hours: M, W, Th & F 2:30-5/6:00 p.m. and Tuesday 1:30-5/6:00 p.m.

  • Social Security Card
  • Proof of Tuberculosis Test Clearance (good for 3 years)
  • Live Scan Fingerprint Clearance (we recommend location)
  • College transcripts with proof of required CD Units.

Sports Program

Lead Coach
Will work under the direct supervision of the Sports Program Coordinator. The
ideal candidate enjoys working with children and has a vast knowledge of all
sports. He/She will oversee all sports programs at a San Fernando Valley school location and must have the ability to relate to children and adults at all levels. The Lead Coach will train, oversee and supervise the work of an Assistant Coach(s), possess excellent time management skills, attend monthly staff training sessions and be athletically inclined. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: lead exercises, run drills, provide instruction on how to play each sport, inventory all sports equipment and adhere
to the curriculum guidelines that are provided by the Coordinator. The candidate must have a minimum of 1-year experience working in a sports program in the area of coaching.
This is a part-time after school position Monday through Friday 2 – 5 p.m.
Salary is D.O.E.

Assistant Coach
Will work under the direct supervision of the Lead Coach and/or the Sports Coordinator. The candidate must have a vast knowledge of all sports in order to
lead exercises, run drills and provide instruction on body movement and agility training; inventory all sports equipment and adhere to the curriculum guidelines provided at required monthly staff training sessions. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children and has an ability to work with children and adults at all
age levels; serve as a positive role model while inspiring students and teaching them positive sportsmanship.
This is a part-time after school position Monday through Friday 2-5 p.m.
Salary: $8.75-$12 hr. D.O.E.
