Families,
We
would like to express our
sincerest thanks for attending our Invention Conventions and
contributing your generous donations. Our young inventors are truly
amazing! In fostering our children to have a serving heart,
your
donations will be given to Children’s Hospital LA, the
Cerebral
Palsy Foundation and to the maintenance of our violins and guitars that
were used throughout the school year.
For
the next few months, we
are embarking on another outreach program called “Home of the
Brave Quilts.” This organization provides homemade quilts to
families of our fallen heroes. Our goal is for E3 families to sew and
submit a quilt per school. Kester Parent, Debra Fink has kindly offered
to help with sewing blocks, and our students will help stitch the quilt
boxes together. We are looking for family members that would
be
interested in helping with this project! Please contact our
administrative office for more information. We are also in need of
donations of materials and sewing machines!
